On 7/20/2024 Rugby Illinois clubs, Executive Committee and Officers gathered to vote in our summer elections. We would like to thank our outgoing EC and Officers for their work in growing this great sport. In addition, we have an approved by law change.
Approved By Law Change
Amendment to the RIL By-Laws to redefine EC position terms:
5.2 Election of Board of Directors and Officers shall be held at the annual General Meeting in July. Beginning with the July 2024 elections, the President, Secretary, and Vice President of Marketing shall be elected to two year terms. In July 2024 the Vice President of Competition, Vice President of Development, Treasurer and Compliance Officer shall be elected to one year terms and beginning with the July 2025 elections they shall be elected to two year terms. All other Officers shall be elected for a one year term. No limitations on the number of terms that may be served shall apply to any Officer position.
