Rugby Illinos and the CARFU Referee Society is looking to recruit eight High School aged players to agree to become referees and be available to referee games at the Middle School Festivals this 2020 spring season. Rugby Illinois will provide a scholarship to those interested to cover costs of the certification course, each festival worked youth referees will make $75. The CARFU Referee Society will provide referee coaches at each Middle School festival as new refs build their skills, providing support, coaching and guidance.
The following is the schedule of the Middle School Festivals for Spring 2020:
Sunday 4/5- Scrimmage Festival
Sunday 4/11- Seeding Tournament
Sunday 4/19- Regular Season Match 1
Sunday 4/26- Regular Season Match 2
Sunday 5/03- Regular Season Match 3
Saturday 5/9- Regular Season Match 4
Sunday 5/17 – Regular Season Match 5
Sunday 5/24 – Open
Sunday 5/31- RI Middle School State Finals
